Step 3: How to Install SemanticForms

Overview

SemanticForms is a MediaWiki extension function that enables to add and edit data using the form.

Prerequisite

To install SemanticForms, the following programs need to be installed in advance.

MediaWiki

SemanticMediaWiki

Confirming Files

Install SemanticForms by using the following files which is downloaded from Metabolonote.

• Metabolonote_SemanticForms-1.0.2.zip

* A modified SemanticForms program is used in Metabolonote.

Arrangements of Data Files

The following section gives description based on "metabolonote" as the directory where files are placed and "/var/www/html" as the document root of Apache.

• Uncompress the downloaded files.

$ unzip Metabolonote_SemanticForms-1.0.2.zip

• Move into the directory generated.

$ cd SemanticForms

You can see a directory named "SemanticForms".

• Copy the directory to the extensions directory of the metabolonote directory.

$ cp -r SemanticForms /var/www/html/metabolonote/extensions/SemanticForms

Installation

Add the line below to the last line of "/var/www/html/metabolonote/LocalSettings.php".
